How do I find the marina by water?
When entering the Washington waterfront and harbor via the Pamlico River, pass the city docks. Havens Wharf is the last T-dock located on the north side of the river, positioned just before the BR17 Coastal Railway swing bridge. Look for the distinctive historic red-brick building.
How many slips are available, and what are the size restrictions?
The marina features over 30 deep-water slips (with water depths of 20 feet at the dock). It offers fixed T-dock wooden structures that accommodate vessels of various sizes. It is recommended to contact the dockmaster directly at (252) 531-6790 or via email at blakes@risecapso.com to confirm specific availability for your vessel’s length and beam.

Do you accommodate transient boaters, or only long-term leases?
Unfortunately, we do not allow transient boaters. Our minimum lease on slips is 3 months, but we’d love to have you stay longer.
What shore power and utility hookups are provided?
The docks are equipped with both 30-amp and 50-amp AC electrical power hookups, as well as fresh water connections.
What on-site amenities are available for slip renters?
Boaters staying at Havens Wharf have access to standard conveniences, including:

Because Havens Wharf is integrated into downtown Washington, it is just a short walk away from local restaurants, bakeries, boutique shops, and the historic Turnage Theatre. We also sit directly across from the Washington Waterfront Underground Railroad Museum.
When cruising the Pamlico River will I have access to an historic towns?
Heading north up Bath Creek leads straight to Bath—founded in 1696 as the state’s first incorporated town. Drop anchor at Bath Harbor Marina, wander past historic colonial homes, and grab a meal right on the waterfront.
If you’re looking to stretch your legs with a longer full-day cruise, head toward Belhaven. You’ll navigate past the Pungo River entrance into a quintessential coastal haven.
What else can I expect to see and do on the Pamlico River?
When cruising the Pamlico, you can drop anchor off Goose Creek State Park, one of the best places to swim along the river. You can also head further downriver and head into Aurora.
